The gardens in this design are full of perennials which encompass the front yard and cabin. A great recipe of plants with tighter plant spacing gives a full landscape with an almost botanical garden feel. Paths through the perennials provide the needed structure to the gardens. The front walk and back patio are designed in an irregular pattern that fits the more rustic location and complements the cozy cabin. A stone stairwell on the side of the property allows for the homeowner and guests to easily traverse the steep slope on their way down to the lake.
